Installation Notes
Replaces factory J-pipe. Does not include catalytic converter.
All necessary hardware included as well as new port matched gaskets.
With aftermarket J-Pipes having an exit diameter of 2.5"" diameter, the OEM 3rd Catalytic converter creates pipe friction as it is only 2.25"" in diameter. By also removing the catalytic substrate, and making this a race application, we were able to smooth out the flow and keep the diameter consistent in between the J-Pipe and the Cat-back system.
Stainless Steel 439 Construction.
Uses thick, SOLID flanges.
Race Pipe has a Straight through application with no cat material.
Metal Cat a higher flow cat marterial than stock, giving race-pipe performance with low smell and soot.
2.5" Diameter throughout.
Features of the Optional Race and Metal Cat Pipe
- Pre-positioned tabs come welded on to allow the use of the factory heat shield.
- Gaskets and necessary hardware included, except the factory heat shield bolts and nuts.
