Shark Mouth Style Grill Acura TL - Flat black / Primed Ready To Paint
This is a complete grill - including a FREE hood trim piece. The hood trim is free, because we suggest just using / keeping your oem one as it will fit better. There is no way to make a perfect fiberglass trim for this car and have oem style tabs. Its FREE and included.
Most use the stock one and get it painted with the new shark mouth but the hood trim is our "gift" with purchase to you.
Comes with the mesh.
This unit is flat black - ready for paint or leave it back.
** 04-06 bumpers are slightly smaller than 07-08 - please select your correct year front bumper before checking out**
** Some modifications required **
Required to trim off the middle of your bumper's grill. First remove the complete stock grill - then the plastic piece behind it (where mesh would show) would need to be trimmed off for this to slide on.

Great Product, but some Fitment Issues
With this grill, you have to cut out the center bar and pretty much all of the gray inlay trim (which is completely expected if you do your research). I"m not sure why, but my shark mouth grill still did not fit very well and I had a 1/4'' to 1/2' gap pretty much all the way around. In order to get it to fit properly, I had to tuck the top flaps underneath the bumper's top lip, which caused the grill to sit lower. The new angle cause dthe "point" at the bottom V-shape to stick outwards (away from the bumper) It took some time and patience with rubber butyl and automotive GOOP to get it to fit flush, but I still had some small gaps. The gaps aren't noticeable, because I have black rubber butyl behind the tiny openings, but it still turned out well. Just keep in mind that you definitely should not rush this process and will need to take your time if you want the best fitment. It's still a great product and I would recommend this item to a friend!

Looks Awesome
The grill looks great. It accepted paint well but was a challenge to install. I ended up using the original top piece. Worth it if you're up for the task.

Shark Mouth Grille for 07 TL
The bottom piece of the shark mouth grille fits perfectly but I ended up just screwing it into the bottom. The top piece that goes into the hood is not a perfect fit and does not fit well on the hood, so I ended up painting the OEM hood trim to a matte black and matches perfectly.
